Who we are
The Listening Room & PIP is a personal project operated by Romain (“we”, “us”). This website is hosted on a server located in Geneva, Switzerland (Infomaniak VPS).

What we collect
Newsletter:When you subscribe, we collect your email address. That's the only personal data we actively collect.
Analytics: If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with this site. GA4 collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type). IP addresses are anonymized by default.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): your explicit consent — given via the newsletter form or the cookie consent banner.
Cookies
We only set cookies if you accept them via the banner.

How we use your data
Email: solely to notify you about The Listening Room & PIP — stream launches, new content, and occasional updates. We never sell, share, or rent your email.
Analytics: solely to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. Data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted.
Third parties
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) — processes anonymous usage data only after your consent. IP addresses are anonymized. Data may be transferred to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in accordance with GDPR Art. 46 and nDSG Art. 16.
YouTube (Google LLC) — the video player only loads when you click play. Once loaded, YouTube may set cookies per Google's Privacy Policy.
Data storage
Your email is stored in a database on our server in Geneva, Switzerland (Infomaniak). Data does not leave Switzerland. We do not use third-party email services.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU residents) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), you have the right to:
- Access, rectify, or delete your personal data
- Object to processing or request data portability
- Withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or contacting us
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
